What KaDo is

KaDo is a digital gift to express your feelings — three ways to say it: a bouquet arranged from hand-drawn blooms, a wrapped box, or a voucher with ceremony. You compose it, add your note, and send it. Your recipient unwraps it as an animated reveal on whatever device they already have. No app, no account, no shipping address.

Why we built it

Sometimes the right emotional gesture is clear, but the practical route is not. Flowers don't cross oceans well. Gift cards arrive looking like receipts. And the message that took you twenty minutes to write lands in a chat thread between a meme and a delivery notification. We built KaDo for the gap between meaning it and getting it there: the feeling of unwrapping, rebuilt for the way people actually reach each other now.

How the gifts are made

Every gift is unique, drawn live by the same engine that plays the reveal — the bouquets are composed from a botanical catalog of ten flowers and six greens, each with its traditional meaning attached; the boxes and vouchers are wrapped in occasion papers with their own unwrapping arcs. Nothing on this site is a screenshot: what you see is what your recipient opens.

Who edits the guides

The gifting guides are edited under the byline of Tristan Beaumont, gifting editor, kado. Tristan Beaumont is the editorial voice of KaDo. He curates the gifting guides: what each flower has meant for centuries, which arrangement fits which occasion, and — the hard part — what to actually write in the note.

Every guide is checked against the product itself before it is published: if an article recommends a bloom, a recipe, or a flow, it exists in the builder exactly as described. Nothing is published that a reader can't act on in the next five minutes.

Start with what you want to say: browse the flower meanings if a bouquet should carry it, the examples if you want a complete setup to adapt, or the guides if the note is the hard part. When the decision feels made, the builder takes about two minutes.
