What we publish, and how
Scope
KaDo publishes practical gifting guidance: occasion advice, flower meanings, message writing, and complete gift examples. We do not publish general lifestyle content, product roundups for other companies, or advice we can't connect to something a reader can actually do on this site.
Editorial voice
Guides are edited under the byline of Tristan Beaumont, gifting editor, kado — KaDo's editorial persona. The byline stands for a consistent voice and a consistent review standard, and we're straightforward about that here rather than dressing it up with invented credentials.
Standards
Every published guide passes the same checks:
- No fabricated facts. We don't invent statistics, studies, quotes, or florist lore. Flower symbolism comes from the same catalog the product itself uses, or from documented tradition.
- Checked against the product. If a guide recommends a bloom, a recipe, or a flow, it exists in the builder exactly as described — this is enforced by automated checks before an article can go live.
- Advice first. Guides must be useful to someone who never clicks the create button. The product appears where it genuinely helps, not as the answer to every paragraph.
- Human review. Drafting uses AI assistance under this policy; every article is reviewed and approved by a person before publication, and carries its publication date.
Corrections
If something we published is wrong, we'd like to fix it. Write to hello@sendkado.app with the article link; corrections update the article's updated date.
