Navratri · Gift box

A gift box in festival vermilion

For: Family celebrating across distance.

Watch it unwrap

Navratri is nine nights of color — each day its own shade, the chunri and the garba floor doing half the talking. A gift that arrives during the festival should dress for it.

This box wears the festival's own cloth: vermilion paper, gold-dotted like bandhani. Put the plan inside — the ticket home for Dussehra, the video call before aarti, the sweet you've ordered to their door.

The note

What the message sounds like

“Happy Navratri! Open this before the garba tonight. Inside: proof that I've booked the 18th — I land the morning of Dussehra. Save me a dandiya stick.”

When to send it

Any of the nine nights — or scheduled for the morning of day one.

When not to use this approach

Not as a substitute for showing up when showing up was promised — the box carries a plan, not an excuse.
